Sevenoaks Literary Festival is going virtual this year.
  • Five top-class events with (genuinely) world-beating contributors will be available on your screen at the touch of a button.
  • Topics range from music to the nature of friendship and from politics to gardening.
  • Copies of all the books featuring in the Festival will be available on-line and directly from Sevenoaks Bookshop

We open on 25th September with Ian Hislop interviewing Craig Brown about his book on the Beatles One, Two, Three, Four. The award winning writer Elif Shafak whose book titled 10 minutes 38 seconds in this strange world will follow on 28th September, and for anyone who appreciates bees and gardening, David Goulson (The Garden Jungle) will talk on 30th September. On October 1st another well known name, Jack Straw will talk about his book The English Job and we will close with a famous and local figure, Harry Christophers in discussion with the singer Elin Manahan Thomas about The Sixteen and his book written to celebrate the choir.
