The Strollers enjoy the sunshine during a walk in Willet Memorial Woods, Chiselhurst. The wood is named after a prominent Edwardian builder who lived in Chislehurst. He was a keen supporter of outside activities and was an early promoter of British Summer Time to encourage people to make the most of the daylight hours. The woodland named after him was saved from development following a public campaign in 1925. It is now looked after by the National Trust. A great place for a stroll!
